Abstract and paper submissionDear friends and colleagues we call for you to submit an abstract of your latest work for a talk or poster presentation. The abstract deadline is February 17, 2025 (23:59 CET) (Central European Time). Abstracts should be submitted via email to magnonics2025-abstract@uni-due.de. Please read carefully the abstract template and rigorously obey the conditions defined there. The conference will have a superb program, which starts in the evening 28.07.25 and ends at the lunchtime 1.08.25. It comprises about 25 invited talks given by internationally acclaimed speakers, contributed talks and posters. It will provide you with an opportunity to share your research, learn about the most recent developments within the field, and interact with a diverse community working in the field of magnonics. We especially wish to advise to early-career researchers to attend Magnonics 25. We reached agreement with IEEE Magnetic Letters, that selected contributions to the conference will be published in this Journal. The conference also offers a Social Event, which will take place on 30.07.25. It will comprise a boat trip along the Mallorca coast followed by a free air Conference Dinner at the picturesque port of Porto Cristo. We strongly encourage attendees to take their partners with. Special rates for time before and/or after the conference will be agreed with the hotel. We plan to organize child care during conference (supported by IEEE).
Papers Related to Magnonics 2025 Conference in IEEE Magnetics Letters You may submit a five-page (maximum) paper, whether contributed or invited, for publication in IEEE Magnetics Letters (IML) any time after acceptance for presentation at the conference until 30 September 2025. If you are giving an invited talk, your article should not be a review; rather, it should contain mostly new results, as is appropriate for a letters journal. Templates are available at <https://journals.ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/create-your-ieee-journal-article/authoring-tools-and-templates/tools-for-ieee-authors/ieee-article-templates/>.
NEW: At their option, accepted authors may publish their conference videos along with their papers in IML. As an example from another IEEE journal, please see https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9248636. Simply include your video as a supplemental file when you upload your final, accepted manuscript. The IML editor who managed the reviews of your paper will check your video for appropriateness. Note: One of the steps in the IEEE electronic copyright form says, "Indicate whether IEEE has permission to use video and audio recordings of your conference presentation." This does not transfer copyright of your video to IEEE; it simply allows IEEE to post your video. |
